With Brenda's more than 30 years of experience working a veterinary practice, health, temperament, and soundness are of the utmost importance in the Brenich Pugs breeding program. Brenda has served on the Pug Dog Club of America (PDCA) in a variety of roles including as treasure, a member of the Health Committee and Judge's Education and is a PDCA approved breed mentor. She was also integral in the startup of one of the first Pug rescues in the country, as rescues and reputable breeders should not be mutually exclusive. Dave, too, has served the national club in a variety of ways including as the chairperson of the ethics committee, assisting with raffles and various fundraisers, and managing "cleanup" at various national specialties. As a second-generation fancier, Kelly was a top Pug junior handler before finding success as a hobby handler. She has served the national club as a bulletin editor and as a member of the illustrated standard revision committee. Additionally, Brenda, David, and Kelly have each held a variety of positions with the Great Lakes Pug Club over the last two decades including various board positions, with Brenda serving a great number of years as club president. Both Brenda and Kelly are AKC Breeders of Merit. 

Brenda, David, and Kelly are members in good standing with the Pug Dog Club of America.
