In July 2003, Kelly and Ch. Brenich I Wanna B A Pepper Too (Dr. Pepper) competed against 27 other junior handlers in the first annual State of Illinois Best Junior Handler competition, and they took top honors, winning Best Junior Handler, the State Title, and a $1000 scholarship!

In December 2003, Kelly competed in Junior Showmanship in the AKC / Eukanuba National Invitational Championship in Long Beach, California. Kelly and her pug, Ch. Daggit Farms Harry Potter, qualified for the finals and became the first junior finalist with a black pug in the AKC / Invitational.

In January 2005, Kelly and Dr. Pepper competed in Minnesota in the Midwest Region Top Junior Handler competition. Again, they took top honors, beating over 80 other juniors and walking away with the Midwest Region Top Junior Handler, 2005 title!

The winning ways continued into the year when Kelly and Dr. Pepper competed in Louisville, Kentucky with some tough competition in the Kentuckiana Region Top Junior Handler competition. This time, they made finals and then were awarded 1st Award of Merit for a $250 scholarship!

July of 2005, Kelly and Harry Potter competed in the State of Illinois Junior Handler of the Year competition, taking First Runner Up and a $500 scholarship. Congrats!

In July of 2006, Kelly competed in Junior Showmanship for the last time with Harry Potter in the State of Illinois Junior Handler of the Year competition. They were awarded top honors, taking the State of Illinois Junior Handler of the Year title as well as another $1,000 scholarship.

On top of these wonderful awards and her many wins, Kelly has been ranked as a Top Pug and Toy junior handler all while excelling at academics. We are very proud!
